Sharpe Shows Solid Style in Belmondo Courage Testing

Sharpe Shows Solid Style in Belmondo Courage TestingThe Le Mans mandatory testing weekend has gone well for Adam Sharpe and Le Mans team Paul Belmondo Racing.

Both PBR cars had good runs and proved to be very competitive in class, seeing Sharpe and the No 36 Courage AER lying 6th place in class.

After having been run with low fuel pressure, the No 36 car stopped earlier than planned but Sharpe was satisfied with its performance, having produced a best lap of 3:57.5, commenting, "The car ran very well. It was quick and competitive. I am confident that with our new engine for the 24 Hours we have a lot more to show and I'm very much looking forward to my second assault on this great race with Paul Belmondo Racing."

With just under two weeks to go, things are shaping up well for the young British driver. Following a strong test and with an efficient and organised team, there is an excellent chance of honours at Le Mans 2005.
