Welcome
Adam will continue his professional race driving relationships during 2010 and will compete in VLM, major endurance events and Le Mans.
Adam remains Britain's youngest ever Le Mans podium finisher in the protoype LMP2 class with a second place in the Courage in 2005.
As the youngest Briton to race at Le Mans in 2004 with the Morgan Works Team, Adam Sharpe was in 2005 the youngest Briton ever to have taken a Prototype podium with a superb 2nd place finish in the Paul Belmondo Racing (PBR) Courage Ford AER powered #36 Car.
Adam Sharpe Motorsport [ASM] was officially formed in 2003 with their first race in Australia for the Bathurst 24 hours in the Morgan Aero 8. Since then the team has gone on to manage the running of the Morgan Works Aero 8 entry at Sebring 12 hours and Le Mans 24 Hours in 2004. The following years, ASM competed successfully in the 2005, 2006 and 2007 BritCar Series, producing numerous victories, fastest laps and pole positions in their Falcon V8 Supercar. The ASM Falcon also produced two third place podiums in the BritCar 24hrs in 2005 and 2006. In conjunction with these UK commitments, in 2006 and 2007 ASM entered their third Ford Falcon in the Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series, the feeder category to the world renowned Australian V8 Supercar Championship, where Adam raced successfully for two seasons.
Team principal Adam Sharpe, at the age of 25, has already proven himself a winner. Adam was successfully involved in Morgan's assault at Le Mans in 2004, the same year in which he drove with the Tech 9 team to win the Constructors' British GT Cup Team Championship and take second overall in the Drivers' Championship.
Since then Adam Sharpe has competed in various championships from the Europe to Australia. 2010 will see Adam back behind the wheel of various GT and LMP cars in pursuit of many more race victories.
