ASM is delighted to announce that Adam Sharpe will be joined by Bill Binnie, 2004 Le Mans LMP2 Champion and team principal of Binnie Motorsport, whom Adam drives alongside this season in pursuit of LMES successes.

“Bill is an extremely accomplished and broadly experienced sportscar driver in both historic and modern cars. His track knowledge and driving ability will bring an excellent fresh element to the team at Snetterton” said Adam Sharpe, ASM boss.

The two drivers, who have worked so well together in the Binnie LMP2 Lola, are enthusiastic about consolidating their partnership the powerful V8 Ford Falcon. “Adam and I are a terrific team. We get on very well and he is a pleasure to drive with” said Binnie of the opportunity. “ASM is on to an excellent car in a fantastic series which is very competitive. Adam invited me along to join the team at Snetterton and I gladly accepted the chance to join him in the Britcar series!”

ASM are looking forward to seeing Adam and Bill run the Falcon at its maximum potential, making good use of the longer track where the car can stretch its legs. And with the Silverstone 24 hour in the Britcar programme, it is likely that the pair will have further outings in the series leading up to the event.
