Sharpe to run with Belmondo Racing at Les 24 Heures Du Mans in June 2005
Adam Sharpe announces his drive in one of the two Belmondo Racing Courage C65 AERs. Adam will share a car with Karim Ojjeh and Claude-Yves Gosselin, whilst the other car will comprise Paul Belmondo, Rick Sutherland and Didier André.Adam is very enthusiastic about the opportunity of working with the Belmondo Racing team this year after the unfortunate news that his LMES team, Binnie Motorsport, were not allocated an entry to Motorsport’s most prestigious event. “Although Bill had made the commitment, the team had no luck at all at Sebring and didn’t receive a Le Mans entry,” explains Sharpe.
Adam raced against his new Le Mans partner Karim Ojjeh in Formula Palmer Audi in 2003.
A Belmondo test has been planned and will take place at the Bugatti Circuit for 19th-20th May. Adam will then return swiftly to the UK where he will be racing with Bill Binnie in the Adam Sharpe Motorsport V8 Ford Falcon at Snetterton on 22nd May in the 5 hour Britcar event.
